In 2000, Matias De Tezanos founded Hoteles.com, the most popular online hotel reservation site in Latin America, acquired by Expedia in 2002.

In 2002, he co-founded ClickDiario Network, acquired by Newscorp (FOX) in 2006. At the time of the acquisition the company was ranked by Comscore the largest Internet advertising network in Latin America reaching 6 out 10 Spanish speaking users worldwide, with the top brands in the region advertising in the platform.

In 2007, De Tezanos founded Healthcare.com, a popular website providing health insurance content to consumers online in the United States. Under his leadership the company acquired BrokersWeb, a comparison shopping pay per click market place for health insurance products, and expanded its business model to Auto, Life, Home, Renters and Medicare Supplemental Insurance. As a result, BrokersWeb ranked #1 America’s fastest growing insurance marketing company in revenue growth by INC 500 Magazine during 2010 and 2011. Brokersweb was acquired by Vantage Media in 2011.

In 2012, he co-founded PeopleFund.com, a venture capital and private equity holding company. The company has investments in e-commerce, online media, mobile apps, solar and nano-technologies.

Honored by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader in 2009 at the age of 29, and listed as one of the top 10 Hispanic entrepreneurs by INC magazine during 2011 and 2012. De Tezano seats on the board of trustees of several foundations and organizations leading successful educational programs promoting entrepreneurship in developing countries around the world.
